Introduced in 1992, the Ferrari 456 GT combined the performance of a front-mounted V12 and a six-speed manual gearbox with a level of comfort rarely found in a Ferrari of its time.

In 1998, it was succeeded by the 456M GT, the “M” standing for “Modificata”, which refined the original with subtle design revisions, improved aerodynamics and minor mechanical updates.

At the front, the 456M GT was carefully reshaped to improve cooling and aerodynamics. It gained a larger grille with integrated driving lights and rounder pop-up headlights above, while the lower front brake ducts and the air scoops on the bonnet were removed. At the rear, the motorised spoiler of the original gave way to a fixed lower spoiler extending beneath the exhaust pipes, and the licence plate housing was reshaped. On the flanks, the Pininfarina script and emblem were replaced by a lettering-only badge, and the side indicators changed from circular to rectangular lenses. The 17-inch wheels were retained, now fitted with silver centre caps in place of the black Cavallino Rampante on a yellow background.

The interior saw even greater changes. A new dashboard featured fewer dials and round air vents in place of the rectangular ones, while the more gently curved instrument binnacle now housed four analogue gauges with a new, bolder font instead of two. On the centre console, five gauges were reduced to three, and the entire centre bridge was redesigned. The door panels and seats were also subtly reworked, the rear seats gained a folding armrest, and the steering wheel received a perforated leather rim and an integrated airbag.

From 1998 to 2003, only 688 LHD examples of the Ferrari 456M GT with the gated manual transmission were produced.

This particular Ferrari 456M GT is finished in Argento Nurburgring 101/C with a Nero 8500 leather interior and carpets in Nero 152. It is presented in immaculate mechanical and cosmetic condition and since it was acquired by the current Swiss owner in 2018, has always been cared for and maintained by Niki Hasler AG. To date, it shows 67'600 km on the odometer.
