Highlights
Unveiled in 1968 as the successor to the 330 GTC, the Ferrari 365 GTC carried forward Maranello's celebrated line of two-seat V12 grand touring coupés. Clothed in elegant and perfectly balanced coachwork by Pininfarina, it was conceived for the discerning driver who sought the performance of a thoroughbred Ferrari without sacrificing comfort, refinement or discretion.
It is powered by a 4.4-litre Colombo V12, enlarged from its predecessor's 4.0 litres and fed by three Weber carburettors, delivering effortless torque and a sonorous, unmistakably Ferrari soundtrack. Paired with a rear-mounted transaxle that gives an ideal 50:50 weight distribution and four-wheel independent suspension, it offered a level of poise and composure that set it apart from the grand tourers of its day. Its performance was outstanding for the erae, with 0 to 100 km/h in around 6.3 seconds and a top speed of roughly 243 km/h.
Only 168 examples of the 365 GTC were ever built, making it twice as rare as the 250 GT Lusso and as exclusive as the legendary 250 GT SWB. Today it is cherished by connoisseurs as one of the purest expressions of the classic front-engined V12 Ferrari, an elegant gentleman's express of rare distinction.
This Ferrari 365 GTC was delivered new through the Ferrari dealer Auto Becker in Düsseldorf, Germany. It is finished in its original shade of Azzurro Hyperion 2.443.648, beautifully complemented by an interior in Pelle Nera. It is further enhanced by elegant Campagnolo alloy wheels and an ANSA exhaust.
Presented in exceptional condition, this Matching Numbers example is accompanied by extensive documentation, including a wealth of original invoices. It is offered with the highly regarded Ferrari Classiche certification and a Swiss veteran title.
