At our Track Day at Circuit Paul Ricard, history came full circle when we had the privilege of bringing together two generations of Ferrari racing drivers whose paths, although separated by generations, are united by the same success in racing.
Peter Schetty: The legendary Ferrari works driver, endurance racer and later team manager of Scuderia Ferrari in the early 1970s played a crucial role in shaping the Ferrari legend during the most heroic era of motorsport.
Florian Merckx: 2020 Ferrari Challenge World Champion, continues this story half a century later, driven by the same passion, precision and obsession with performance that has characterised Ferrari's greatest racing drivers for generations.
Together, they took to the track in a unique edition of the Ferrari 296 GTB, carefully crafted as a tribute to the Ferrari 512 S #1038. A car that Schetty drove in the 1970 24 Hours of Le Mans, a living symbol of the connection between Ferrari's glorious past and exciting present.
