The first Track Day of the year took place once again at Ferrari's own racetrack in Mugello. Thirty-one customers, accompanied by expert Ferrari instructors, were able to drive their fast models at racing speed for once. An additional thrill was provided by the appearance of three classic Ferrari F1 cars, which attracted attention above all with their infernal sound.
The most historically interesting F1 was undoubtedly the Ferrari 312 T5, which was last used in 1980 in the Italian Grand Prix at the Imola racetrack with Gilles Villeneuve, with little success. A puncture led to a spectacular accident, which Villeneuve survived uninjured. The other two F1 cars, the Ferrari F29 A and Ferrari 412 T1, were last driven by Jean Alesi in 1992 and 1994.
