This edition is dedicated to Dominik – a private businessman and Ferrari enthusiast based around Zurich. In the past he had owned a Ferrari Dino 246 GT in Rosso Chiaro which inspired him to choose traditional Rosso Corsa for his Ferrari 296 GTB. What might catch your eye are the suction mounted ski racks with, of course, the fitting Ferrari skis.
“The 296 GTB is a fantastic car, and its engine is simply amazing – I enjoy driving it very much. Before I departed for my ski holiday, I thought why not use the 296 GTB to drive up into the mountains. The car was easily spacious enough to fit my skis, ski boots and ski helmet inside the cabin with room for two travel bags in the front. Even though there was plenty of snow on the roads, the car handled extremely well, without any worries. And what might surprise you is the relatively low fuel consumption, which people would never expect. With its incredible engine setup and tech installed, the 296 GTB is the perfect garage sibling for my Ferrari Dino 308 GT4 – the best of both worlds, modern and classic, for me.”
