This Ferrari 365 GTB/4 ‘Daytona’ is very special. Since its delivery in 1973, it has belonged to the same Swiss owner, who has driven it only 18,043 km to date. Carefully preserved, it has been stored in a garage in Geneva for 48 years since its last outing in 1978.
The bodywork, painted in beautiful Argento Auteil 106-E-1, and the interior in Connolly VM 8500 Pelle Nera, are original. The chassis, engine, transmission and axles have matching numbers. Furthermore, the factory-supplied accessories such as the tool kit including jack and spare wheel are still present. The original owner's manual with the warranty booklet, service booklet and all original documents proving the history of the vehicle are also included. The original customs seal is even still on the steering column.
This 365 GTB/4 is not currently roadworthy; mechanical restoration will be necessary after its long period of inactivity. It would be nice if the future owner could decide to preserve the amazing original patina.
