Taking its name from the Italian word for "track", the 488 Pista was forged directly from the experience gained with the 488 Challenge and 488 GTE racing cars. Driven by what was then the most powerful V8 Ferrari had ever built, it ranks among the most uncompromising and technically sophisticated road cars to ever leave Maranello.

At the heart of its alloy and carbon fibre structure sits a 3.9-litre twin-turbocharged V8-engine developing 710 hp, almost 50 more than the standard 488 GTB and the greatest power gain Ferrari had ever achieved for a special-series model. Its acceleration is ferocious, yet it remains remarkably composed and refined, as captivating on the open road as it is commanding on the circuit.

This Ferrari 488 Pista, created through Ferrari Tailor Made, is painted in Grigio Met. SWB, a metallic grey with a slight blueish/greenish tint that was created by Ferrari specifically for this car. As the name suggests, the colour was inspired by a Ferrari 250 GT SWB Berlinetta Competizione. The racing stripes, finished in Grigio Ral 7010, create an elegant contrast.

The interior is just as special. The inserts on the Daytona racing seats are finished in Kvadrat Trio 3 376 fabric, reminiscent of the corduroy fabric found on the seats of the 250 GT SWB Berlinetta Competizione that inspired it.

The rest of the cabin is fully upholstered in Nero 8500 leather, which is unusual to see on this model. The Cavallino Rampante is stitched into the headrests in Grigio 416. Another feature that might not immediately catch the eye is the 4-point safety belt padding that has been specified deliberately without any Ferrari logos.

Furthermore, this car was ordered without any visible Ferrari Tailor Made logos, which adds to its elegant configuration.

We are delighted to present this car today, as it was supplied new by Niki Hasler AG and has been serviced by us ever since. It currently has a low mileage of just 1'600 km and is the only Ferrari in the world with this exterior colour.
