Unveiled on 16 November 2017, on the 81st birthday of company founder Gian Paolo Dallara, the Dallara Stradale was the first road car ever built by the legendary Italian racing car constructor.

Gian Paolo Dallara began his career under Enzo Ferrari, played a key role in the development of the Lamborghini Miura and went on to build a company that has shaped modern motorsport, supplying chassis for some of the world’s most prestigious racing series. With the Stradale, the result of a project that had been nearly two decades in the making, he finally realised his dream of a pure, lightweight sports car in the spirit of Colin Chapman’s Lotus Seven, translating decades of racing expertise into a car for the road.

Built in Varano de’ Melegari around a carbon-fibre monocoque with all-carbon bodywork, the Stradale weighs just 855 kg dry. Mounted behind the cabin is a 2.3-litre turbocharged four-cylinder based on the Ford EcoBoost unit and developed together with Bosch to produce 400 hp, giving it a power-to-weight ratio of close to 2 kg per horsepower.

Its aerodynamics reflect Dallara’s racing heritage: in coupé form with the optional rear wing, the Stradale can generate up to 820 kg of downforce. Equally remarkable is its versatility, as it can be transformed from a minimalist barchetta into a roadster, targa or coupé with the addition of a windscreen, T-frame and doors. Only around 600 examples were planned, making it one of the most exclusive and engaging driver’s cars of its generation.

This Dallara Stradale is finished in Gloss Green Exposed Carbon Fibre, complemented by Gloss Black Exposed Carbon details on the aero kit, headlights, mirors and front bonner, as well as the rear wing. Inside, the cabin is trimmed in special-colour Tan 4914 Alcantara.

Its specification includes the desirable six-speed manual gearbox, adjustable suspension and dampers, 18/19-inch forged centre-lock wheels in black with brake calipers in Nero, the aftermarket racing exhaust and ECU kit, telemetry, and air conditioning. The car even comes with an indoor car cover, a set of additional wheels with slicks, and an additional exhaust.
